PSC Compliance Standards: A Commitment to Excellence  

Our commitment to excellence shows through in everything we do. In addition to following the guidelines set forth in our Standards for Conduct and Business Principles, every officer, manager, and employee must conform to the high compliance standards outlined in the PSC Compliance Plan.

At PSC, we have charged our Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer and Security Officer with critical responsibilities – to oversee compliance with our corporate standards, to ensure that information security strategies are aligned with your business objectives and HIPAA compliance, and to interpret and answer questions from employees and clients. To that end, they serve as liaisons between executive level management and support staff in the development and implementation of the HIPAA Compliance Program. In addition, they maintain a library of compliance reference materials and handle any inquiries about suspected violations of laws, regulations or policy. Each year, they provide a written review of the PSC compliance program, which includes all actions taken to advance PSC’s compliance efforts throughout the year.

We keep up to date with all industry standards and regulations. We are proactive in our efforts to keep employees and clients informed about changes in federal and state billing policy and legislation. In order to stay current, we continuously monitor and maintain a library of industry literature and publications, update coding references and software, and provide continuing education for employees.
